This is a short story that I did a couple of years ago. It was published in a Transplant comics anthology, and I’ve reprinted it in the SCP book. The artwork is a bit crude, but I think the story still holds up.

Other than the story that I’m working on right now for the next Cloudscape book, this is the only comic I’ve ever done that’s longer than a page. I want to change that!

There are three pages in total - I’ll post the other two on Wednesday and Friday.

I have some good news, and some bad news.

The good news is that the book store will be online any day now. I’ve verified the proof copy, and I’m very happy with the quality. You’ll be able to buy a copy (or ten!) as soon as the printer sets up the e-commerce side of things. I’ll post a link as soon as I can.

The bad news is that I have to put the site on a temporary hiatus. I’m going to be insanely busy for the next month, and I’m not going to have time to make any comics. Lacking normal updates, I’m going to run some great guest comics, and some older stuff that hasn’t been published online yet. There’s even a chance that I’ll have some SCP-related videos to post in a couple of weeks, but I can’t make any promises about that.

Normal updates will resume in late May. I’ll be starting a new job shortly thereafter, and then I want to settle into a permanent two-strips-a-week routine.

I apologize for my lack of planning with this whole thing. I had meant to work up a backlog of strips for this month, but every time I finished one, I couldn’t help but post it right away.
