The Canadian Space Agency is hiring!

I would have applied if not for my near-sightedness. (And for the fact that watching the Challenger explosion on TV when I was six years old made me forever terrified of space flight.)

I know a friend who’s like the guy in panel 2. He’ll be stoked when he sees this.

Soooooooooooooo the joke is that he made his own spacesuit? And I find out you’re from Canada? *unbookmarks SCP*

I think my brother’s applying for that. In 1993 (I think), he went to Taiwan for the international science fair, and won second place in his division. He’s been studying physics and whatnot ever since.

Aww, drats, that’s entirely unfair. His space suit looks more durable than the one I made. [/joke] (:

I’m sure that helmet will come in really handy with collisions at interplanetary velocities..

This is great. Shame people expect more detailed comics and thus lower the rating.

For my own research purposes, I’d like to know how he and his suit fare in space. I may have to re-evaluate my own design!.

Just like I’ve seen in IT. Education is a great thing, but nothing compares to innovation and the drive to jump in and experience.
