These double row strips take forever, even when they only have three panels.

I find it amusing that they took into account the necessity of quick diffusion of oxygen into and carbon-dioxide out of and across the bubbles, and yet they totally failed to take into consideration the lack of offensive capabilities..
In all fairness, if they built up some speed or got going down a long hill, they could turn their bubble-balls into high-speed projectiles, rolling over everything in their path. Might get dizzy, though.
But then the bubbles might break. I wonder what they’re made of? The ‘tnk’ makes it sound like glass, I think.
I also wonder how they got up to the surface while in the bubble. Awesome, though.
Lovin’ the last 3 comics dude! There down on my level, haha.
I love the look on the humans faces here, a little concerned but more just confused, Classic.
Does anyone else think that the amphibians look like the evil sea-villain people (I can’t remember their exact name off the top of my head) in Stingray?
Well, they can’t use their spears, but as one person pointed out, they could roll the spheres.
Assuming a 3 ft radius, and neglecting the weight of the container, air, and creature (so, assuming it’s just a sphere of salt water), the weight of the ball works out to be about 778.7 lbs of salt water in each ball. I don’t know about you, but I’d rather take my chances with the spears than being run over by a near-800lb ball.

OMFGLOLERS! I haven’t laughed this much in ages. Thank you for a very entertaining site… it feels good to be able to laugh again!

You know…that does seem a major design flaw they should have taken into consideration. Poor bastards; going to be put in an aquarium most likely.

Nah, they could just float in the water in the middle of the bubble.

Yes, double the space usually means quadruple the work. It’s a mathematical wonder….

I think the real question is, why are they all wearing skirts?
April 26th, 2008 at 4:26 am
Heheh. When I first read it I thought that the sand and grass were inside the bubble, not in front. Silly me.
