Very funny once I got it.. however the last pitch was a bit unclear .. I thought they were standing inside a factory at first (watching THEIR OWN machines) then after a few more looks I noticed they stood outside a window ^^

I’ve been reading your strip since… I think the latest one when I started was the one about robots powered by sadness, so quite a while. But I never noticed the rating system until you mentioned it in the magic fish strip recently. I don’t think it was in the old site design (the one that had the “most recent” button labelled “fresh”).
But since you want ratings, I went back and rated all the comics in the archive. I left comments on quite a few of them too. The comic has come a long way and has been one of my favorites for quite a while now. Congrats!
Actually, in the process of rating each comic I totally rearranged the “highest rated strips” on the sidebar. I’m drunk with power!
By the way, please finish the storyline about the robot. I know it had its problems, but I liked it.

I’m a runner/powerlifter so I appreciate shoes. I gave you a 5 on this one, I really liked it. It’s interesting how, like the dreamcast, the elves’ shoes were ahead of their time.

Those shoe elves can join nike or adidas. though working conditions aren’t guaranteed to be better…..

I upgraded my Wordpress engine last week, and some stuff is still in flux. I didn’t think that anyone even noticed the tags!

Remember in Jumanji when they were showing the Parrish shoe company back in the day? all they made were normal brown leather shoes.
There was a black guy who worked there and he designed a modern basketball shoe made out of soft, white painted leather and rubber. he took pride in it, but everyone thought it was silly. It was suppose to be funny because everyone in the factory thought he was dumb for thinking it was a good design, and now we all wear them.
yea. it was kind of a big movie.
I love your comic, but this just seems like you ripped off a lame cultural joke from a mediocre movie from the ’90s.
