Although.. By 50 seconds to launch (as indicated by the giant timer near the launch pad), aren't the support arms usually retracted? And hence the rocket should be half smooshed, lying on the ground, likely pointing towards the tower. HILARITY ENSUES.

It's clearly an absurdist strip. Besides the design of the rocked itself seems sound, it just got put in upside down :P made me laugh, and people who analysed it to the point of incredulity need to unscrew their lug-nuts half a turn.

this one is much more blunt and to the point than most of the others, but it's nice to read one of these and laugh without the need to think every once in a while.

Questioning my 'expertise' would assume that the Captain did design or have some hand in the creation of the ship. Either way not a big fan of this one.

Ahhhh comedy. No matter how hard you try, you can never understand it. (for some reason this one was really funny, but I am at a loss as to why)

Who cares who built the rocket. You over-analyze. Just take the joke for what it is.

This is funny in the Paranoia RP style. The astronaut clearly knows what's going on, but he's so scared of the Leader he submits, and huge explosions result. Fear and ignorance, ignorance and fear.

The other ones would have the astronaut actually accepting the Leader's authority leading to an eventual disaster.
