Today’s strip was inspired by this recent foray into the uncanny valley.

Work on the book is progressing. I’m looking to include ALL of the strips, which will result in a page count of about 100. This will mean a manufacturing cost of about 20 bucks. I’m not planning on putting in any extra material, but I have arranged a foreword to the be written by another comic creator who will remain nameless for now :)

Well Spoted NS_Fred151! So that’s what happened to him! He must have lasted a long time because last time we saw him it was in a society where Robots were banned from working, and now they seem to rule the world. Guess we jumped ahead a couple of Millennia.

I think most of us would be willing to pay a couple bucks more for some bonus material. Heck, that’s the best part of anything, book, movie, whatever.

Aww, robots is not a fun crowd, is it?
That’s okay, ‘It pays well’, it does. (: (Ah, yes, I see the eyebrows robot! Thatnks for pointing him out!)

    Heheheh. Great storyline continuity.

I know this is going to sound very annoying, but he’s holding the bow too high. Sorry for that.

He is, indeed, holding the bow too high. But I’m going to listen to the obnoxious, technical, heartless and soulless Caprices now. Robots. No taste. ^.^ Me either, apparently.

Eyebrows Robot is a cutie pie.

At least with them he doesn’t have to say, “You’ve been a great crowd, thank you!”

Also, why wouldn’t they just get a robot violinist who would be able to play the piece PERFECTLY?

    I am a sax player/guitarist, so I wouldn’t know.

    Sarah!

Perhaps.. They do it because as robots, their lives are perfectly ordered, but as most were probably built by humans, they were programmed to tolerate, enjoy, or even relish a little disharmony, like people playing imperfect music?

Maybe their entertainment is analyzing how he, the performer, went wrong?
