Ha, first panel–before reading the words, mind you–I thought ‘zombie’ (because my mind’s always on zombies, and I missed seeing the claws/nails the first time), so that was a slightly unexpected turn for me, but it was well worth it.
Poor guy. If only he’d brushed and flossed. (:
Jez: In the third panel the store next to the denture store is a medical supply store selling “Home IV kits.” I would think we are supposed to assume he just gave up on biting people because of the shame of needing dentures.
Mostly I just wanted to comment to say “Well, he might as well give up. He’s clearly gone senile. I mean, he can’t even find the carotid any more. He’s biting that guy’s shoulder.”
The shame in wearing dentures? I’ve been wearing dentures since WW1 and that hasn’t stopped my vampiring! I think he should quite his moaning, that’s no life for a noble vampire.
My favorite part of this comic is in panel 3, on the sign it says “open 24 hours!”
Just thought that was funny, I mean, a medical supply store being open at night??
But i know that’s the only way a vampire could go to a medical supply store.
I adore subtle humor!

Haha…I like this one. It’s a different direction than your comics normally take - vampires, rather than robots!

I don’t get it, why can’t he bite people now that he has dentures? Also I got a huge deja vu from the 3rd panel.

@Jez - He’s retired. “Ah, this biting people stuff is a young vampire’s game. Might as well just get a blood IV and watch the tube.”

So wait, if he’s a vampire, how old IS he. Don’t vampires live for like hundreds of years?

Aw! Okay, the moral to the story is if you are a vampire, don’t turn anybody over fifty.
