Aha! I smell an irony coming!
But I don’t want to spoil it for those folk who are a bit dim and can’t figure it out… that or I could be wrong.
Individually, these comics don’t have much funny in them. Here’s hoping that the last one makes up for it with a LOT of funny.

No offense or anything, but it’s my experience in viewing comic strip story arcs that each strip is supposed to have its own mini-arc so that they can stand on their own (see, for example, Terror Island, which is an entire narrative, each strip of which has its own witty joke, or traditional newspaper dailies).
The comics in this recent series just seem to progress the story to the next comic, without the traditional poignancy I’ve come to expect from the last panel of SCP.

Oh, oh! He (sorry, IT) could be a clown-bot!
Where it works at children’s birthday parties. (Somebody suggested something, I wanted to suggested soemthing too! And no, I wouldn’t jump off a cliff if somebody else did.)
But I don’t think it would be very good at making balloon animals, and some people are actually allergic to what balloons are made out of! (An allergic reaction? I should stop writing your material for you. I’m sure you already have it planned out.)

No offense taken RealGrouchy - I know what you mean. I’m still figuring out how to carry a story from strip to strip. I’m going to try to make them a bit punchier from now on.
I’m not sure how long the Great Story Experiment will last. I might try mixing in some traditional SCP one-offs every so often to liven things up a bit. My hope is that once this thing actually gets rolling, and I have the little robot out interacting with the world I’ll be able to incorporate more of what SCP is known for. For the past three strips I’ve been trying to set up a framework upon which I can build all of this. Looking back now, I can see that at least the last two strips are missing a certain something to keep the reader interested on strip-to-strip basis.
This is harder than it looks!

I’m reading my way through the archives and I have just gotten to this comic. I think it’s a credit to your style Kevin, that I am already filled with a sense of dread and forboding. Also nice touch with the binary counters on the upper right of the panel.
