What a helpful and kind robot. Why can’t they all be like that, rather than crazy killing machines of doom and death?
It would be great if more robots just volunteered to be ‘thrown out’! (Just to let people know, I am afraid of robots as such. I watched a lot of sci-fi when I was very young.)
Loved it!
But if the robot is just being thrown out, can’t the employee take it home with him so he can keep it?
It’s amusing how the robot has such an expressionate face, and kind of looks bored in the last panel. Am I confusing boredom with sadness? … If it can feel sadness–an emotion–why would it volunteer to throw itself out? Does it take pleasure in knowing it was of service to a human? If it does have such AI, will it try to find a new human to ‘be friends with’, so it can make the human smile, increasing the crazed robot’s own happy-robot-emotion?
Okay, maybe I look into things a bit too much; Blame that on an entire night of sleeplessness… But it was rather fun to analyze.
I’ll stop rambling now.

That last panel looks like he’s thinking, “Is that what I think it is?”
