The Carnival Mascot’s View of the Beginning of the First Interplanetary War
… And here’s a bonus comic! Since this is a bonus comic, I’ve tried something a little different. This one is not supposed to be funny - it’s more of a storytelling thing. I wanted to try something interesting with the framing.
Don’t worry, the usual sad robot jokes will be back this weekend.

I love it! Who says comics always gotta be funny? To me it’s all about being ENTERTAINED. That doesn’t necessarily mean laughing

For what it’s worth, I thought this one was hilarious!

Other than the alien-monster-thing being NOT a Kromagg, it took me all the way back to my childhood of wacthing Sliders. Such an awesome sci-fi show.
I like the art of the alien-robot-brain-monster things.
Let’s just hope they never come into existance though, eh?

I have to say this is one of my favourites man, I love alien invasion stories but they’re more interesting when told from a normal persons perspective, which you’ve taken to the extreme!

Wow, this reminds me of the Cloverfield movie that came out way after this was written.

This one is underrated. Really cool storytelling experiment.

Took me a while to realize the giant purple masses were the mascot’s arms/hands.

Man… seeing this now reminds me of Cloverfield, especially that first panel with the crash equalling the last 30 seconds of the movie… well done with the future-sight.
