Surrender, Humanoid
SCP came in 4th in the first round of webcomic idol. Thanks to everyone who voted - I’ll be posting a bonus comic some time this week! For every week that SCP stays in the contest, I’ll do an extra comic! So vote like you’ve never voted before!
The robot in the strip was inspired by my Hallowe’en costume last year:
It was big enough that I could set it up at my desk at work when I felt like taking a break:
I twisted my ankle this weekend, so I guess I’ll have to go as “that guy who is on crutches now because he’s too clumsy to successfully cross the road”.

This is based (even if not intentionally) on a novel by Stanislaw Lem

I love the range pans for the eyes! Great costume!
I hope you’re back on your feet again soon.

That’s rather amusing.
Let’s hope this never actually happens!
Nice costume, too!

Now I don’t get what’s so funny about this comic. The writer is stupid for not knowing what words I don’t know. I can’t be expected to know things like “surrender” and “council”. What am I, a professor?

I love the irony in the line “My brother! Do you not recognise me?”

This is hilarious.
His eyes in the last panel are great.
My favorite one so far… keep up the good work.

The last line here is the most ironic.
