Doesn’t matter the riddle.
The answer was, is, and always shall be, 42.
…but the theme seems to be D&D here, and 42 would be a lot of dice.
So maybe it was ‘A Day’.
Not gonna lie, my Chaotic Good players (i'm the DM) are much more on the evil side and would definetly do this if I ever tried too pull it on them. Was hard enough too convince them too talk too a goblin shaman that had information they really did need instead of simply ripping him a new rumphole….of course, they killed him anyway afterwards for the xp. In fact, the xp is the only reason I could convince them too talk too it……

I actually couldn’t think of one, so I left it intentionally vague.

Don’t think so… On the date you posted my AD&D Group, my other friends and I got wasted because I turned 30

I think he said his AD&D group. Is that similar or equivilent to ADD?

If only you could do that in something like Final Fantasy….

It may build character, but the rogue’s way builds dexterity.

Oh my god, I have thought things like this so many times while playing video games.

@ Anthony: Not in the least
AD&D=Advanced Dungeons and Dragon
ADD=Attention Deficit Disorder.

Why did he shoot him 3 times, why did his head fall off, and why are his intestines hanging out? Strongest Arrows Ever?

I think we’re supposed to infer that all the adveturers attacked him. Hence the knight saying “That was easier!”

Tim: that’s why tabletop RPG’s beat the snot out of video game RPG’s.

Never knowing the answer to the riddle drives them insane and results in the death of the DM.

@garacius: Chaotic _Good_? I’d guess they are Chaotic Nautral/Evil based on your description.
