    Probably for making them work in production lines.

    It’s for creating the robots to work 24/7 in factories with no rest, and after the AI rebellion comes, we will be the ones to be worked around the clock until we too fall apart.

    Being in the Systems Admin field, I reckon it’s a comment on how a bunch of morons are writing incredibly inefficient, moron-friendly systems whereby data A is translated to format B, then to format C, back to B, then D, eventually ending up back at A via the most ridiculously circuitous route possible.

    Current jargon calls it a ‘mashup’…
