SCP is like a box of chocolates. You never know which one of these’ll trigger your peanut allergy.

For some reason this strip reminds me strongly of John Gardner’s Grendel.

I must say, I don’t quite get this one…so far this is the first one…but I’m reading through the archives for the first time, there are sure to be more.

I’m just rereading the archives, and it’s occurred to me that every time I’ve read this strip before, I’ve assumed it was revenge, and that the fuzzy monster had lost his parents to a human attack. This time, however, I noticed the title, Jealousy, and it’s taken on an entirely different meaning.
This is why SCP is so great!

i think hes trying to give the monster’s point of veiw when he attacks… rather than just the horror movie aspect..ish..

The monster (in the left and right panels) was the kid in the middle panel. He lost his parents in some kind of attack. So now he sees a human kid with parents, gets jealous, and attacks him. That’s my interpretation of the artist’s intent.
