[...] To my credit, I have never let a pet starve to death. That said, there was an incident involving my cat and my pet chameleon that ended in bloodshed. Poor lizard. [...]

If I remember correctly from my daughters Sea Monkeys was that if they died you could bring them back from the dead. Zombie Sea Monkeys!

I’m pretty sure Tetris was some kind of Russian plot to destroy American productivity.

What’s happening in panel 2?
April 11th, 2008 at 7:24 pm
Well, sea monkey was thin in panel one, is fat and surrounded by a substance that resembles blood and bits of flesh in panel two. barring the unlikely event of an atomic miracle of water spontaneously transmuting itself into food in front of said sea monkey and the other sea monkey spontaneously combusting; we can assume that sea monkey one has gone Donner party on monkey 2 only to die later and now alone, left in his final hours to consider how low he sunk to steal a few more hours from death.
In short, more SCP comedic gold

Wow… that’s so horrible it actually crossed the line and isn’t funny to me.

Just cause it’s a comic does not imply that it has to be funny. This is a very poignant strip, and speaks volumes about several topics.

I think it’s funny.
I had sea monkeys as a kid and they died pretty quick. Also I love(d) tetris and would abuse my responsibilities to play it.
So yea, I can relate, it’s funny!

Sorry. But you mistreated an living being which died in pain (from hunger) and you laught?
Maybe I don’t know how it is to have an animal (I never had one – except early childhood when my parents had 2 cats, who died from natural cause – age, and ever since I had not decieded due to my lifestyle – it would be cruel)…
