November 5th, 2007 at 12:32 am
Cows I can eat but now thanks to that image I may never eat beef again. Ah never mind pass the ketchup.

The night of the cow!!!
April 3rd, 2008 at 10:14 pm
I like how this obviously isn’t even close to the first time they’ve had this problem.
April 9th, 2008 at 12:50 pm
With this one I can see you developing the punchline and establishing a style for the comic, and for me this has been the most entertaining so far.

If God didn’t want us to eat animals he wouldn’t have made them out of meat.
May 7th, 2008 at 7:20 pm
what ever happened to the TRUTH.
May 7th, 2008 at 7:36 pm
The TRUTH??
The Truth is that humans are carnivores. We have evolved to be meat-eaters, and the TRUTH is that vegetarians and animal-rights freaks would have us forget this.
I’m not condoning the bad treatment of food animals. Animals raised for chow should be humanely killed, then processed.
And the TRUTH is that Peta stands for People Eating Tasty Animals.
Peta is filled with hypocrites…I saw a rally once, and the loudest mouth there was wearing LEATHER shoes.

Yeah? You go eat a raw steak and then tell me how we’ve evolved to be meat eaters.
Oh yeah–good comic by the way. Horrifying, but good. I don’t even wanna know about vats 1 through 13.
May 8th, 2008 at 6:27 pm
Is the name Clarence a reference to Gary Larson’s Far Side comics? Because that’s what I kept thinking.
May 27th, 2008 at 10:30 pm
I hope so.
These comics are really starting to get disturbing.
May 28th, 2008 at 1:23 pm
I say lets eat the vegetarians.
May 29th, 2008 at 2:22 am
PETA actually stands for People Encouraging Terrorist Actions. I used to fund-raise for them, actually. They are such awful hypocrites.
July 21st, 2008 at 10:40 am
PETA recently offered a $1 million prize for anyone who can get vat-grown meat onto supermarket shelves.
July 24th, 2008 at 4:53 am
Gimme a nice, red hormone steak that’s been eating grass while alive. Bloody and juicy. Mmmmm.
Vegetarians and vegans like the PETA fanatics are extremely violent and foolish. Maybe it’s due to some kind of protein deficiency?

Kind of reminds me of a thing I read in “Oryx & Crake” by Margaret Atwood. They had engineered what they called chickienobs, a kind of chicken that more resembled a mushroom than a chicken and they simply dumped nutrients into a hole on the top of the chickienob and it would grow meat that the people “harvested”.

I’d rather eat fish. Yes, it has a face. But an ass-ugly one.
August 27th, 2008 at 11:06 am
Reminds me of this manga: http://www.onemanga.com/BioMeat_-_Nectar/

Obviously, you haven’t met too many vegetarians, Anna, they’re some of the nicest people I know. On the contrary, a lot of the meat eaters I know harass the veg’s because they don’t understand why they’ve given up meat.
Funny comic, tho.

no .. omnivores.

“Yeah? You go eat a raw steak and then tell me how we've evolved to be meat eaters. “
One wonders how this comment is even relevant to the discussion. We're no longer raw meat eaters, and our bodies have, in a sense, devolved to not tolerating as well the consumption of raw red meat. Furthermore, nearly raw meat (sometimes called rare) is served often at homes and in restaurants.
Perhaps our reduced tolerance to raw meat is a sacrifice our bodies made when increasing the potential of the brain.

Just because we can't eat steak raw (and some people do )(steak tartare) doesnt mean that we are not meat eaters. There are plenty of vegetables that if you ate raw just might kill you. (eggplant, potatoes, salmonella covered tomatoes)
My cats cant even eat raw meat because they are soo domesticated. That doesn't mean they are herbivores.
We are supposed to eat meat, goddamit.
January 17th, 2009 at 2:15 am
dumb
January 17th, 2009 at 4:39 am
i don't get it.
January 17th, 2009 at 11:19 am
SOYLENT GREEN…IS…PEOPLE!!!!!!
January 17th, 2009 at 3:47 pm
actually you can eat raw meat just fine. its the way its handled and processed exposes the meat to bacteria and parasites. thats why u cook it. maybe some people have weaker stomachs, like my girlfrien cant eat meat very much at all, but the cooked vs raw precaution is usually just to prevent infection.
January 25th, 2009 at 2:35 am
That would be scary. I dont care how cheap they make it, there is just something wrong with eating a vat grown anything.
January 25th, 2009 at 2:39 am
I love me a rare steak now and then…. so blood runs out when you cut into it, mmmm……
January 26th, 2009 at 8:03 pm
Well… not anyone can stomach raw meat. Besides, there are all kinds of parasites that you can get from eating raw meat. That's why all restaurants that serve raw or almost raw meat must take special care regarding their meat suppliers.
Eskimos used to live off raw fish and seal fat without ever eating vegetables because their metabolism is used to it. Most of us couldn't contain that and would die of hunger before getting used to that kind of diet.
The best kind of diet is (supposedly) eating food that is native to the region you live in.
January 28th, 2009 at 6:19 pm
americans believe anything..
February 15th, 2009 at 6:34 pm
I've just lost my taste for burgers.
February 15th, 2009 at 9:18 pm
Before fire, people didn't last long in general – glad to eat anything at all whether or not it might kill you. Our modern dietary biology is more likely set by mass extinctions following the adoption of agriculture. My ancestors must have had lots of cows because I think I could live on beef & cheesy broccoli with a glass of milk. Many starches & grains, however common they are in the general populace, will seriously mess me up
February 16th, 2009 at 12:32 am
“supposed to” — evolution is not a moral imperative. Make up your own monkey mind.
February 24th, 2009 at 9:40 am
Why is it whenever something gains sentience it magically knows fluent language, usually english.
February 24th, 2009 at 7:35 pm
Hahahahahaha. Cows.
