Absolutely brilliant.
Reminds me a bit of Harvey Birdman, except more believable, hence more amusing.

I think it means that the accountant/superhero is really bored at work and can’t wait until he can get to his night job of saving innocent people. Right?

He’s just bored and glad he’s finished at the end. The joke is that a superhero accountant is still boring.
