Yeah, sometimes when archaeologists are making complex interpretations of artifacts I wonder if somebody 2000 years ago was just screwing with future generations.
Although they actually do recognize when a job was botched, most of the time.
Maybe they just PRETEND to recognize when a job was botched. To add to their aura of knowing what they’re talking about, when they claim It was a fertility icon.
